Individual support with a cancer diagnosis or suspected cancer

I will not leave you alone with your cancer diagnosis. Together we will clarify whether you have cancer, whether it is benign or malignant, and work out treatment and monitoring plans in line with your personal circumstances.

Expert advice on suspected and confirmed cancer

Many cancer patients are unsettled after receiving an unclear, inconclusive diagnosis of symptoms such as fever, night sweats, weight loss, anaemia, swelling of the lymph nodes or other related symptoms. In many cases, there are also abnormal laboratory values, for example changes in the cells in the blood count or elevated tumor markers, as well as pathological findings from imaging examinations such as ultrasound, computer tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

Please gather all previous findings and examination results relevant to your diagnosis. If you need additional documents, we can assist in requesting them from your hospital or doctor. Please bring these findings to your appointment, where we will determine together whether further examinations are required for a clear diagnosis.

During our consultation, we will review all your medical data in detail. I dedicate one hour to discuss everything thoroughly. Following this, we move on to the most crucial step:

We will establish a diagnosis or I will provide you with a second opinion. If additional tests are needed–such as blood work, CT scans or MRIs–I will refer you accordingly. The maximum waiting time for these tests is two weeks. Immediately afterwards, we will meet for a follow-up appointment, either in person or via video call/online, to discuss the findings.

Together, we will create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your specific type of cancer and individual circumstances. The treatment plan adheres to the latest medical standards, and I will refer you to an appropriate regional hospital. Should you have any questions or concerns, appointments outside our regular opening hours can be arranged to ensure you always feel supported. During ongoing treatment, you’re welcome to schedule additional consultations during interim examinations (restaging).

During or after treatment cycles, we will meet for regular examinations to adjust the therapy if needed and address any concerns. If necessary, I will refer you for additional imaging or lab tests, which we will review together during follow-up consultations.
